Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and username.

Usage data: We log player searches, vote history, and watchlist activity to provide and improve the service.

Device & analytics data: We collect standard analytics data (browser type, pages visited, referring URL) through Google Analytics to understand how people use the platform.

Payment information: If you subscribe to Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use your data to:

• Provide the TAHMAlytics service (search, signals, voting, watchlist)
• Track and improve algorithm accuracy
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, subscription receipts)
• Send newsletter emails if you opt in (unsubscribe anytime)
• Monitor and prevent abuse

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Google Analytics — website traffic and usage analytics
• Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions
• Resend — transactional and newsletter email delivery
• BallDontLie API — NBA player and game data (no user data shared)
• The Odds API — sportsbook odds data (no user data shared)

4. COOKIES

We use cookies for:

• Session management — keeping you logged in
• Analytics — Google Analytics cookies to understand site usage

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly.

5. DATA RETENTION

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Search history and vote history are retained to provide accuracy tracking and leaderboard features. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days.

• Delete your account — available in your account settings or by emailing us
• Export your data — request a copy of your data by emailing us
• Opt out of marketing emails — unsubscribe link in every email

7. INTERNATIONAL USERS (GDPR / CCPA)

European Economic Area (GDPR): If you are located in the EEA, you have additional rights including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and port your personal data.
